Kitty's Summer Haircut
Summer can be very uncomfortable for cats with lots of fur, so I take mine to a place where they get a nice bath and grooming. Angel and Babie also get shaved. By the end of summer, they'll have healthy new coats. Although they're somewhat embarassed, they are very greatful to get rid of the clumps and to stay cool. They even got to wear western bandanas for a day.

I know it looks cruel, but they like the shave. Their coats feel like velvet - so soft.
I seem to remember a story told by the Big Guy about once taking Chow to the Groomer and needing medical attention afterward. Besides, Chow has a beautiful coat.
