Early Winter

Here are a few pictures of what
we woke up to in Calgary this morning.

But all it takes is a Chinook Wind and all the snow will be gone in a day with temperatures at 10+ Celsius. See if you can open the following link (or highlight, copy and paste onto internet address bar:

Well, I hate to chuckle, but I am! You are just getting a taste of what we've been experiencing for the past 10 days...including a couple of freezing rains and oh, let's throw in an expected 18 cm of snow this Sunday! But we're tuff...we can handle it with enuff joy juice (AKA hot toddies!)

My kidlets were totally excited to see all of the snow, now I just have to find their inflatable toboggans. I'm sure we'll be out there this weekend for a few good runs!

Wow. I heard it on the news but I don't remember winter comming so early when I lived in the Hat. Maybe I've been away too long. We have not gotten the white stuff yet. Just alot of rain. I think I would prefer the white stuff. I can play in that. We are stuck inside with all the cold and wet. And we have this incredible hill just behind the house. Now where are those toboggans.
